Shipping

  • How long does it take to ship?
    • Handmade items can take longer to make, please allow for 5-7 business days for your order to ship.  If you need rush delivery, please let us know in the order notes during checkout.
  • I ordered multiple items, but only received some of them?
    • This is most likely due to ordering from multiple vendors on the same order. You should receive your entire order shortly. Please contact us with questions about your order.
  • Why did I receive multiple shipments?
    • Ordering from multiple sellers will create a multi-shipment order. You may receive multiple packages and tracking numbers. Please contact us if you have questions about your order.

Refunds & Returns

  • What's your refund policy for returns?
    • Each seller has their own refund policy. Contact us if you need to make a return.

How Check Your Flies Works

  • What is Check Your Flies?
    • Check Your Flies is a fly fishing marketplace and community dedicated to connecting anglers and makers of fly fishing gear.
  • Can I order from multiple sellers?
    • Yes, you can order from multiple sellers. Each seller ships separately, so you might see different shipping fees in your cart.

Selling on Check Your Flies

  • Who can sell on Check Your Flies?
    • CheckYourFlies.com is available for any maker that wants to sell their handmade flies, landing nets, fly rods or any other fishing related item.
  • I created an account, but it is awaiting approval
    • When you create a seller account there is a short period where your account will need to be approved in order to upload your products.  Please allow up to 24 hours for this process.
  • Are there fees associated with selling?
    • Yes, There is a 5% referral fee and 2.9% transaction fee for selling on Check Your Flies. This is applied only when a sale occurs and is fulfilled.
    • For sellers in Canada there is a 15% referral fee and 2.9% transaction fee. This is due to currency fees
  • When do I get paid?
    • Payment will be released within two business days after your order is delivered. 
  • How do I receive payment for my order?
    • Payment is provided by PayPal and direct deposit for sellers in the USA. 
    • For sellers in Canada, PayPal is the only option.
