Magnetic organized depressions are now staircased from back to front and bowl shaped for easier storage and better containment.
Still magnetic but from beneath the base resulting in less interference with materials.
Larger tapered storage holes. Cast in tool bar will now hold easily four times as many tools. (where previous holes could hold one bobbin per hole, they will now easily hold 4 per hole. More suitable for larger tools, steamer brushes small UV bottles etc.
BIGGEST change is a totally modular post system. Vise receiving post is now free to be solidly mounted in any of 9 gridded pre drilled ports allowing way more options and the ability to easily have additional mounting posts for lights, bobbin cradle, tool bars etc. These new posts are also made with a stainless steel core for more solid mounting. This also means there is one base for lefty’s and righty’s. Additional posts, for accessory’s, will be a available when ordering.

This new base is the result of a year of tying on the improved pedestal, with input from pro tiers, guides and fly shop owners.
Largest footprint on the market. Deep, smooth transitioning tray compartments. Removable thread posts. Strong locking socket hex bolt (hex key included) 1/4”, 3/8”, 5/8” holes in the tool bar. Strongest, stoutest, stickiest foot pads I’ve been able to find.
This new base was designed for production tiers, big streamer/salt tiers and anyone else who’s wants the best pedestal on the market. Hooks and fine edged tools will be undamaged from the aluminum casting. Materials will stay put in the deeper tray compartments while going from the fireside to the dining room table. Smooth transitioned compartments allow ample tool and material orginization. With Deeper compartments for head cements, uv epoxy and UV lights to sit snug
The larger dimensions distribute weight evenly when tying on your lap. 6 paired magnetic compartments are perfect for pairing hooks and beads.
Each base is hand cast in Massachusetts. Base comes standard with a 3/8” bore which will fit all American made vises. Bore can be enlarged to accommodate oversees vises.
