This is a deadly pattern.
The quill body adds a really nice segmentation. This fly has just a hint of flash at the back to help it stand out in the drift.
I believe this specific pattern was originally developed Devin Olsen. Quilled perdigons have been popular with those in the know for some time.

I don’t add the black wing case to the bead by default.
I just use a darker bead color (coffee) if I think the fish are going to be spooky.
If you want me to add a black wing case with sharpie, select that in the style option.
